About
A space for rediscovered selfhood, dedicated to healing burdens and navigating the journey of personal transformation with grace.

Mission
Our mission at Spark Hope Counselling is to create a space where people feel comfortable enough to rediscover themselves. It is a place to work on healing any burdens or trauma that influence and controls someone's ability to change their future. I work with my clients to peer into a symbolic mirror to identify and work with them to uncover their spark and heal the wounds that dim it.
You may wonder, what do I mean by inner spark? An inner spark is your core essence of feeling alive, joy, and heart-aligned purpose that stays inside you despite external stress. It is the part of you that is connected to yourself and it is the drive that moves your body and mind towards your personal goals.
How does your spark fade? Through chronic stress, burnout, lacking nutrients and poor sleep. It can be depleted through external pressures like life and work obligations.
As a result, you may dim your light. This means to intentionally hide, suppress, or play down your talents, confidence, joy, or authentic self. People often do this to avoid making others feel uncomfortable, insecure, or jealous, or to fit in with family or friends.
