I believe the human connection is essential for being a healthy therapeutic relationship, so I write this post with the intention of sharing some pieces of me so that it may help you understand who you would be working with if you choose to start your journey with me.
By nature, I am a helper and a lifelong learner. I have experienced motherhood and I love rock climbing when time and energy allows. I am very spiritual and practice meditation and healthy living daily. I am passionate about helping people and not "fixing them". We all have our own experiences and wisdom that we can draw on, but sometimes we need new tools, and structures to change our approach to our life struggles. I have a wealth of knowledge to share with you, not only via the trainings and education that I have completed, but also through my lived experiences. I understand what it is like to be a woman living in our society that only shames and guilts you for being. It's shocking to fathom that existing can cause you to feel like you have done something wrong, but unfortunately, societal beliefs and norms reinforce these ideas in us. Somehow, we are not good enough, we do not do enough, that we should be perfect in a very flawed system somehow.
In a professional setting, I have many years of experience working in the corporate world, specifically working in Human Resources. I have seen the struggles with going on leave, experiencing layoffs, struggling with higher up authorities, and the challenges with finding work. I have worked as a Career Specialist/Coach and have supported hundreds of people on career search help and providing training to both low and high level employees. I know how important communication and the right strategies are necessary in ensuring that we focus on the right pathways towards our future goals. My long-term goal is take some of the funds from my practice and open up a health clinic specifically for women.
If anything I mentioned resonated with you, please know that I am here to help you support and explore your inner world. The journey may be triggering, difficult and feel intense, but I have been here myself and understand that healing requires care, time, a road map, tools and a plan. When you are ready, I am here to help activate your healing journey and start you on the path to inner peace.
